Finding a job is probably one of the hardest things you will do on your working holiday in Japan. Making sure your CV/Resume is in the proper Japanese format and knowing where to look can be confusing and very stressful. With the support offered through our Work and Travel Japan program you can avoid all of the stress and streamline your move to Japan!
Work and Travel Japan provides you with the resources you need for a successful job search in Japan. Our Japanese inbound centre have local bilingual Japanese staff on the ground in Japan to provide expert advice and guidance. They will help you get set up in no time! Japan’s economy is very strong and jobs are plentiful with the support of the Work and Travel Japan program. For an extra 200 we can place you in farm work or a traditional Japan hotel (called a Ryokan). Get in touch for further details!
Employment support in Japan Includes:

Farm Work in Japan
For many Japanese, the quality and origin of their food is of high importance. At the same time, Japanese farmers are striving to produce agricultural produce of highest quality. So during your farm job in Japan you can learn a lot, have fun and at the same time enjoy a healthy nutrition! No previous knowledge about farming is needed.
The farms include small family-run farms where you would stay with the farmer’s family, and also larger farms. You can choose which size you prefer.
Location: Our partner in Japan cooperates with almost 10,000 farms in ALL prefectures of Japan.
Please note that basic conversational Japanese language skills are required for this placement. If you have basic conversational Japanese language skills (are able to understand simple work instructions) our partner will arrange a skype/phone interview with a farmer who will immediately confirm the placement prior to your arrival to Japan.
Salary: Farm jobs are remunerated at a range of 690-1500 Yen per hour.
Traditional Japanese Hotel/Ryokan work
Now you have the chance to work at a Ryokan, a traditional Japanese hotel, doing fully-remunerated work as part of your Working Holiday in Japan. You will not only learn about traditional Japanese culture and culinary arts, but also about the probably highest service level of the world.
Location: Over 6,000 options across all prefectures of Japan

Language courses and Teaching English Options

In Tokyo there are companies offering hobby activities such as gymnastics, football (soccer), dance and theatre to children and youth, where instruction and teaching is done in English.
Location: Across Tokyo
Role requirements: The idea is to have the children/youth learn English in a playful way. Our partner cooperates with several chains that have multiple branches in Tokyo.
Ideally, applicants should have experience in the respective hobby, but it is not an absolute requirement. For the sports activities, you should be generally sporty though. You should be fluent in English, but you don’t require qualification for teaching English and no knowledge of Japanese is required.
Salary: The hourly salary is 1000-1200 yen. It is possible to work part-time (28 hours per week) or full-time (40 hours per week).
Lastly, it is also worth noting that we can assist with pre-arranging a Japanese Language courses prior to arrival at Kudan Language School to help prepare you for any of the above employment options.
Tuition Fee 14,500 JPY per week per person (20 units of group language lessons x 50 minutes)
One-time Registration Fee 20,000 JPY per person
Teaching materials 10,000 JPY per person per quarter
