It’s important you understand all the costs involved with your Work USA program before you even apply. At IEP we are upfront with all costs; there are no hidden fees with IEP – what you see is what you get! Everything is outlined below.
You will find that we offer some of the most affordable program fees on the market – don’t pay more!
It’s also important to understand that not all of the costs below are paid at once. You can review our ‘How to Apply’ information that outlines when certain fees are paid.
Initial Deposit Fee: $295
Final Payment: $850 – paid within 8 weeks of your initial deposit. If you need a payment plan – just ask us! Want to pay in full – no worries. We are here to help you make the move to the USA!
*The total program fee is $1145, but to get the ball rolling you only need to make an initial payment of $295!
USA Visa Fee
USA Visa Fee: $US160
SEVIS Fee: $US35
US immigration law requires those travelling on a J-1 visa to have comprehensive travel insurance by an approved travel insurer for the duration of the visa. A condition of our Work USA program is that all participants must enrol for the travel insurance cover provided by IEP New Zealand. You can review the details of our insurance policy here.

Proof of Funds
To be allowed to enter USA on a 12 month J-1 visa you must show a proof of funds of $US1,000 if you arrive with a pre approved job offer or $US2,000 without a job offer.
