We have received notification this morning from the Canadian Government that they will no longer be issuing any returner visas for New Zealanders wanting to extend their working holiday in Canada for a second year. This decision has been made in conjunction with the New Zealand Government and is effective immediately. Please be assured that IEP and SWAP have done everything possible to protect this visa allocation, but unfortunately despite our best efforts and with the best will in the world we do not have control over government decisions.

We understand that this is very frustrating and disappointing for you. This could also be leaving you in a difficult situation, and we will do what we can to assist you with your next steps.
